| 29th July 1981 Royal Wedding Day (Charles and Diana). The day was declared a public holiday so what better way to celebrate than photographing "Deltics". This was their final summer in service and they could be found on the York - Kings Cross semi-fast trains. So of to Naburn just south of York. No Selby avoiding line in those days. |
